Jordan’s IPPD Activates Payment of Patents Substantive Examination Fees
The Industrial Property Protection Directorate (IPPD) announced the activation of Article 20 of the Jordanian Patent Law No. 97 and its amendments of 2001, the substantive examination fees will start to be collected with a retroactive effect, for all pending patent applications filed since December 9, 2018 as long as the formal requirements and conditions thereof are met.
