The NICE Classification (NCL)

The Nice Classification (NCL) was established by the Nice Agreement (1957), it is an international classification of goods and services applied for the registration of marks. The international classifications facilitate such searches by organizing information concerning inventions, trademarks and industrial designs into indexed, manageable structures for easy retrieval. The Nice Class Headings describe in very broad terms the nature of the goods or services contained in each of the 34 classes of goods and 11 classes of services.
