UAE Trademark Office ” Power of Attorney – New trademark applications “
The UAE Trademark office notifies the possibility to file copy of the non-legalized Power of Attorney together with the Legal Translation thereof at the time of filing a new Trademark Application, on the condition that the duly legalized Power of Attorney to be electronically belatedly filed via the Electronic website of the said office within the prescribed legal term; otherwise the new trademark application will be rejected.
Accordingly, all the undertakings will be cancelled and any new trademark application only containing the undertaking to submit the Power of Attorney will be rejected as from 03 June 2021; considering that the application does not fulfil the legal requirements of new filings.
