About UAE
UAE is a federal Arab state located in the east of the Arabian Peninsula in the southwest of the continent of Asia, overlooking the southern shore of the Arabian Gulf. It ranks seventh in the world in terms of its oil reserves, and the United Arab Emirates has one of the most growing economies in Western Asia. The economy of the UAE ranks twenty second in the world in exchange rates in the market and is the second largest country in purchasing power per capita and on the ratio of Relatively high in the human development index for the Asian continent and ranks fourtieth in the world.

Registration
- Undertaking letter from the applicant attesting that all conditions listed in the Ministerial Decision are fulfilled and that the applicant shall be liable of any non accurate information.
- Original legalized POA at the filing time.
- A clear statement proving the distinctiveness of the breed from other similar plant varieties of the same species.
- A statement proving that the genetic structure has not been modified or developed.
- A statement proving that the variety does not harm human, animal and plant health.
- A statement proving that the variety has no impact on the sustainability and use of biodiversity and the environment in general.
- A statement confirming the stability of the variety, the number of propagation cycles during which none of its distinctive characteristics changed, as well as the changes observed during the propagation and reproduction process. The statement should also outline the mixing ratio that has been observed or expected to occur.
- Colored photo of the plant.
- A declaration, with the date of submitting the application, attesting that the breed is new variety that has not been exploited by the plant breeder or with his approval for commercial purposes within the required time period stipulated by law depending on the type of the plant.
Filing a Copyright Application
- Full description of the work .
- Power of attorney from the applicant ,duly legalized up to the UAE consul .
- Copy of the identification documents of the applicant .
- Certificate from the censorship department of the UAE ministry approving the work according to the regulations in virtue .
Registration
- Authorization letter in the letterhead of the applicant addressed to U.A.E. Network Information.
Center authorizing SMAS-IP to register the domain name in U.A.E. - Copy of the U.A.E. Trademark Registration Certificate, in case the requested Domain Name differs from the applicant’s name.
- For Arabic IDN (.Emarat), trademark registration certificate in UAE or in any other Arab country for the Arabic Script.
